Write love letters from the skies to win a romantic trip on Virgin America

Here’s a Cupid approved contest from Virgin America, the quirky San Francisco, California carrier known for is known for its geek chic in-flight amenities like fleetwide WiFi and seat-to-seat chat.

For Valentine’s Day (tomorrow, Feb. 14, in case you’ve been sleeping) the airline wants to know if its onboard WiFi has allowed you to send love e-letters from 35,000 feet, or if you used seat-to-seat chat to strike up a flirtatious conversation with the cutie in row 21C?

Daunting as they may seem, these advancements in technology have made long distance relationships much more accessible, so for the most romantic day of the year, they are trying to connect long distance lovebirds with more than just in-flight WiFi. For the chance to win a round-trip flight or ultimate Vegas getaway, Virgin America is asking passengers to share how our mood-lit flights have helped keep their remote romances going strong.

“We are looking for happily ever after stories,” said a spokesperson for the airline. All you have to do is share on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Vine how Virgin America has helped to keep your long distance love alive using the #VXLongDistanceLove hashtag. Submit your stories by February 19th for a chance to win a two-night stay at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (round trip airfare included) and an opportunity to take your love to the next level at the Pop-Up Wedding Chapel.

You can choose to get hitched in Sin City for real or just for faux via three commitment package options: “Hitched in a Hurry,” “On a Whim,” or “Going to the Chapel.” And four lucky winners will win round trip tickets on Virgin America to reunite with their long distance loves.
