The “Wrecking Ball” video by Miley Cyrus might have broken records as the most watched music video, but there’s still that elephant in the room. Miley is totally naked and licking the head of a sledge hammer in a very seductive manner in this video and no one is saying anything about the music, which isn’t bad.
According to the Huffington Post on Sept. 12, Billy Ray Cyrus is yet again put on the spot about his daughter’s actions. This time it has to do with her nudity and sexual innuendos in the “Wrecking Ball” video. The elder Cyrus seems to be making a living out of defending his daughter lately. He seems to be a highly sought after guest for the late night shows and other talk venues, but it’s all about Miley.
Billy Ray Cyrus said about Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” music video:
“It wouldn’t have mattered if she wore jeans and a flannel shirt, a tux or a nun’s habit.” This is because "her performance vocally on the tune reflects her root and sheer God-given talent.”
Yes, but she wasn’t wearing all those things, she was wearing nothing and she was sexually licking the head of a sledge hammer. If nothing else, what about all those germs. Every orifice of her body is up against an unsterile environment, it's a real germ fest!
Miley is telling people if they’d just look past the video and see her, "you would see that I actually look more broken than even the song sounds.” Bingo! Isn’t this the point of the controversy around what seems to be an obsession on Miley’s part to get attention?
If you look past the nudity and you look past Miley making what looks like oral love to a cold iron head of a sledge hammer, you would hear a song that’s not bad at all. But because of everything that Miley’s doing, it takes away from the real talent heard in the video, the music. Once again it looks like a case where Miley is her own worst enemy by taking in germs and taking so much away from "her sheer God-given talent," as her father put it.
