Wrap up of PAPS – PAPS, Part VI

The founder of PAPS (Phoenix Arizona Paranormal Society) and all of its team members are highly dedicated to helping individuals in Arizona with their “paranormal problems.” They are the type of organization that one always hopes to encounter. They not only identify the problem and take care of cleansing it, but they provide the homeowner with extended support after the event. Their clients are placed on a “watch list” for 30 days after the cleansing and are called periodically to ensure that everything is still peaceful with them and their homes. Even after 30 days, Rod and his team keep in contact with their clients and tend to get quite a few referrals that way.

PAPS is not publically funded and no one on the team has a payroll. They donate their time, energy, and money to help individuals in Arizona on a voluntary basis. They accept only donations but sadly, since the company’s development in 1999, they have only had two donations. All the money spent on equipment, gas, time, and other expenses are paid for by the team members themselves and most of it, by Rod directly.

Since PAPS’ creation, the team has witnessed 3 demonic possessions, has handled 60 plus spirit cases, encountered 10 plus explainable cases (those in which a spirit was not present), 2 poltergeist cases, 1 police involved case, 8 cleansing of businesses, and 4 out of state cases. That’s a lot of business and their success rate is amazing!

The success rate of PAPS is 95% in cleansing a home or individual of paranormal beings. The only factor that makes it less than 100% is due to home owners not following through with Phases II and III (as explained in Part III of the PAPS series). Rod stated that “some people just refuse to follow the instructions or they don’t believe it will work”. Belief is a large part of what makes PAPS and their processes successful.

Rod himself claims to be more of a spiritual man than a religious one but said that his experiences with the paranormal, particularly those with PAPS, “have strengthened his faith” as he has seen firsthand what the power of prayer can do. Rod believes that all things are made of energy, even inanimate objects have molecules that interact with direct energy, and he has set a mission to rid as many homes, businesses, and individuals of “bad energy” and spirits as he can.

PAPS is getting ready to write a book with many case examples as well as expanding on some of the information that has been included in this six part article series. Rod encourages everyone who would like to learn more about what PAPS does, and the paranormal in general, to pick it up. There is no release date yet, but information will become available once more details are known. PAPS also does an event at the Phoenix Zoo every year on October 29thand 30th, as well as some ghost walks at other times of the year. PAPS does fundraisers so for any businesses out there looking to provide something interesting for their patrons, contact PAPS! Currently, Rod is looking for a very good historian/researcher to join his team. If you are interested, please visit the PAPS website to contact Rod directly.

If you would like to experience what it’s like to be a part of a paranormal investigation with PAPS, you can join an open investigation in which Rod and his group invite a group of people to accompany them to places like Jerome, AZ (which is the next open investigation, date to be announced). You can sign up for the “Friends of the Paranormal” email list and Rod and his team will announce the details on the PAPS website when they are available. To sign up for the email list or if you feel as though you are in need of the team’s services, please visit the PAPS website.

To Rod and the PAPS team, keep up the great work and thank you for your time and energy spent on ridding rthe homes in the Valley of the Sun of pesky paranormal beings!
