See also

WPMI-TV recently began holding a contest in which members of the public who send positive comments about anything through the official Facebook page for WPMI-TV may win umbrellas with one of the logos for WPMI-TV and the logo for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) if their comments are chosen to be read on WPMI-TV's local morning news program, "Local 15 Today" (see contest rules for more details).

The first few comments to win the contest were announced on the morning news program on Tuesday, February 19th, along with the names of the persons to which those comments were attributed (Deitra Tate of WPMI-TV's weather department announced the comments in addition to promoting the contest, including suggesting that participants make positive comments about the station or their communities).
