Many Hollywood stars are used to getting the royal treatment of free swag, fun perks and extra benefits. Well, now the tables have turned or at least for one day they did as some of Hollywood's brightest stars hosted the Wounded Warrior Project at the Avalon Hollywood for the style and beauty suite. "I'm really blessed to be here." said Judith Hill from season 4 of The Voice.
Jason George from the Mistresses, Elliott Yamin from American Idol and Quinton Aaron from The Blind Side were among the other celebrities on hand for the event. “The Wounded Warrior is a project that I’ve been involved with supporting for the last 4 years.” said Aaron.
This fun-filled day was an opportunity to celebrate the nation's wounded service members and provide them with a true Hollywood experience of beauty treatments, spa services, styling and lots of cool swag. The Vine Street Market, which designs fashionable, eco-friendly reusable bags, was thrilled to support this project. “We are giving out our pink heart bags because we give our hearts out to the warriors.”
Luxurious fashion brand, iiJin, which is a favorite of many stars, was onsite gifting its fashionable shoes and clothes for attendees. While, Roma Boots showcased its cool rain boots and promoted its boot drop program. “I mean for all of these people and celebrities to get together to show their support, it’s a very special thing.” said Alan Babin, who fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Chloe Hatfield, Miss California Teen, added, "They volunteer to go overseas and volunteer to help out our country and knowing we could come back and do a little thing just to help them out to be a part of a memory that they're creating is cool."
This is the first year for the Wounded Warrior Project Style and Beauty Suite but organizers hope it won't be the last.
