"Worst Tattoo in the World" Finally Fixed Five years later

In 2007 Chad Stahl got a tattoo to commemorate the one year anniversary of the death of his wife, who died in a house fire. What was supposed to be a loving tribute to his wife resulted in an internet meme and has graced many "worst tattoo" lists. The familiar image shows a photo a a beautiful young woman smiling in her wedding dress, side by side of what can only be called a disastrous reproduction in tattoo form.

For five years Stahl had this terrible tattoo that was supposed to be a loving tribute to his late wife and mother of his three children. Recently Stahl went to Empire Ink in Akron, Ohio to get see if he could get it fixed. Artist Scoot Versago heard Stahl's story and not only did the work for free, but greatly improved the tattoo. Stahl's new tattoo has a striking resemblance to his wife, and is truly a fitting tribute to late wife.
