Sorcery (Mythic Rare)
You control target player during that player's next turn. Exile Worst Fears.
(You see all cards that player could see and make all decisions for the player.)
Elspeth feared that her trespass into Nyx would not go unanswered.
Time Walk is one of the game's most powerful cards, allowing you to take an additional turn. At its worst, Worst Fears is essentially a black Time Walk (albeit for eight mana instead of two) allowing you to Mind Slaver your opponent. In a best case scenario you'll be able to use your opponent's resources against them: Forcing your rival to attack into your larger creatures, use their removal spells on their own permanents, and leaving their lands tapped out so they can't respond to anything you do on your next turn.
Erwin points out that you'll be able to go infinite and control all of your opponent's turns in conjuction with Panoptic Mirror. Now that's devious.
One place we can't wait to abuse Worst Fears is in the Commander format. That's because you'll be able to use your most intimidating enemy's resources to take out one of your other adversaries. They'll also be left tapped out and vulnerable to the other players in the game, including you.
Worst Fears is the type of mythic rare that we love: Huge, flashy, and impressive.
How will you use Worst Fears?
