'Worst Cooks In America': The grand finale

On Monday night the finale of “Worst Cooks In America” played out, and what an end to a great season. Jamie from Team Anne and Amber from Team Bobby prepared a 3 course-restaurant quality meal for 3 renowned chefs, and they were all fascinated by the excellent food that was served.

The show began with 14 cooks who could barely boil water, and week after week they all learned something that before had been a language none of them spoke, and by the same token a cook was eliminated every week, but not before acquiring a love for something that in the past they felt was beyond their grasp; a love for cooking.

Jamie continuously made fun of his inability to cook, or his lack of knowledge of one or another ingredient and how his husband was the only one in the household that could prepare a meal. Amber also, pointed out often that her children were pretty much disgusted by the meals she attempted that always came out tasting terrible.

On Monday night though, they both were focused and determined to win the competition not just for them alone, but for their mentors and specially their loved ones, but there could only be one winner and after much deliberating and giving much earned praise the winner was announced and it was Amber from Team Bobby.

Next season of “Worst Cooks In America” on the Food Network will be fun to watch because Chef Anne has lost 2 seasons in a row and she will be determined to take on next season’s grand prize.
