‘Worst Cooks in America’ season 5 premieres Monday

Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America” is back for its fifth season. Premiering Monday, Feb. 17, Chefs Bobby Flay and Anne Burrell take 14 new recruits through a culinary boot camp for a chance it winning $25,000.

Working their way to the finale and a chance at the big prize, the recruits are from all walks of life and include a model, a realtor, a nurse, and even a radiologist. Divided into two teams, each week at least one cook will be sent home until the final episode where one will be awarded the title of Best Worst Cook.

From donuts to sushi, the recruits will be quizzed, taught about food, and challenged on basic cooking techniques from their two mentors. Tomorrow night, the chefs will give their recruits their first two tasks by cooking a signature dish and then making pizza.

Worst Cooks in America” is sure to serve up another entertaining season. Viewers will see recruits who are kitchen-clumsy, who burn everything, and who even injure themselves. Find out if Bobby Flay and Anne Burrell can teach these cooks the basic cooking skills they need to win the competition.
