On tonight’s episode of “Worst Cooks In America”, the coaches paid the cooks a surprise visit and they were taken back by the lack of cooking that has gone on in the house, and instead found many menus from the local Chinese take out.
Then, after summoning the cooks to the kitchen, they were given their Skill Drill test, which consisted of cooking a traditional not too difficult Chinese entrée, for Team Flay Shrimp Lo Main and for Team Burrell Shrimp Fried Rice, and upon being shown step by the step, the cooks were told to start cooking and their time would end upon the bell ringing with the Chinese take out that chef Flay and chef Burrell ordered. Rasheeda won the test on the Red Team and for the Blue Team Chet.
And then it was time for the Main Dish Challenge and that was baking a cake for a lady soon to retire for chef Burrell’s team or Red Team and two boys age 7 for chef Flay’s team or Blue Team. First, they were given instructions by chef Ron Ben-Israel host of “Sweet Genius.” Alina pulled it off with dough that had a green hue but tasted good according to chef Flay and the two little boys and Chet from the Red Team managed to create the best cake of the remaining four cooks on that team.
“Worst Cooks In America” is a fun and humbling show, where there are no attitudes or criticism from other contestants, on the contrary it is fun to watch these people who have no idea of what to do with ingredients strive to do their best and impress their mentors and families. “Worst Cooks In America” run on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. EST. on the Food Network.
