Worlds thinnest ultrabook unveiled by Acer

The computer and Internet markets are continuing to rejuvenate the economy with new developments regularly. Now Acer has added new excitement to the market with the
unveiling of what the firm refers to as the world's thinnest ultrabook. Syracuse consumers can pick up Acer computers in town at Best Buy and Walmart and online from Amazon at the HME Online Mall.

Peter Pachal has reported for Mashable "Acer Unveils Aspire A5, ‘World’s Thinnest’ Ultrabook." Ultrabooks are compact and powerful Windows laptops which have proven to
be a big winner in laptop market. On January 8 Acer surprised the market with the unveiling of the Aspire A5, which Acer has claimed is the world’s thinnest Ultrabook. Acer's Aspire A5 may really be the thinnest ultrabook with a measurement of just 15 millimeters, or 0.59 inches, at its thickest point. Even the MacBook Air, which inspired the Ultrabook movement, is 0.68 inches at its thickest point. And the Acer Aspire A5 weighs just 3 pounds.

Some other exciting innovations with the Acer A5 are the Acer Green Instant On, which is said to be able to bring the notebook back from sleep mode in less than 1.5 seconds; and Acer Always Connect, which it is promised will quickly reconnect you with any online services you were logged into when your computer went to sleep, and a function to wake up the A5 via smartphone. This exciting Ultrabook has been designed to be sleek and useful. It is highly attractive with a curved shell that comes in “Onyx black”, and detailing in brushed metal. These magnificent machines are anticipated to be on sale in the spring, with the price not yet set.
