Huawei has unveiled the new Ascend Mate at CES 2013. Titled as the worlds largest phone, this phone has a whopping 6.1 inch 1280x720p LCD IPS display that has a special capability called "Magic Touch" where usere can operate the device even while wearing rubber gloves.
It has an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1 megapixel front-facing camera. This phone is no slouch with a 1.5 GHz Hi-Silicon K3V2 quad-core processsor with 2gb of ram.
Battery life is expected to last around the day with the massive 4050 mAh battery. This is far larger than the nearest competitor, the Motorola Razr Maxx HD which come in at 3300 mAh. The phone alos features a microSD card slot, not present in many of the big name android smartphones.
Android 4.1.2 comes with the phone,(though it is a far different from stock jellybean due to the Emotion UI).
The phone is expected to come out sometime in Febuary for Chinese customers (no world on the international release date) with a price of 30,000 yuan ($481).
