‘World Trigger’ manga coming from Viz this fall

Viz Media announced at Sakura Con this past weekend, that it will be debuting the first two volumes of the manga series, “World Trigger”, digitally and in print in North America this fall.

Created by Daisuke Ashihara, the sci-fi action series, “World Trigger”, begins four years after a portal to another dimension opens and Neighbors, invincible monsters, invade the Earth. The series follows Osamu Mikumo, who alongside his Neighbor friend, Yuma, will do anything it takes in order to defend the Earth from its invaders.

Viz Media will release “World Trigger” under its Shonen Jump imprint, and the first two volumes of the manga will debut simultaneously on October 7, 2014. The print versions of the series will be available for $9.99, and the digital version, which will be available at and through the Viz Manga app for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch as well as Android smartphones, will be priced at $6.99. New volumes of the series will be released bi-monthly.
