With the April 20 "Parade of Champions" event looming just a few weeks away, NWA Houston makes one more stop at the Cypress VFW on March 15.
Several months back, "The Tokyo Monster Kahagas" brought the NWA World Heavyweight Championship to town as he defeated Damien Wayne. The two tore the house down (almost literally), but Kahagas emerged victorious. The next man in line is former NWA Lone Star Tag Team Champion Ray Rowe, who will seek to pull off the huge upset and bring the gold back to Texas. This match has the potential to be very vicious and hard-hitting, as Kahagas has a big challenge ahead of him.
Speaking of World Champions, the NWA World Tag Team Chamiopns will be in action in a huge rematch from last month. The Kingz of the Underground (Scot Summers and Ryan Genesis) were able to escape last month's title defense against Carson and "The Modern Day Hero" Kevin Douglas. Carson was left unable to tag in, leaving Douglas to get assaulted by the champions. On March 15, these two teams will square off again, as Douglas and Carson try to dethrone the Kingz. Summers and Genesis are ready, and have vowed to once again retain the titles.
Rowe's former tag partner Jax Dane puts the NWA Lone Star Heavyweight Title on the line against the monster known as Kash. Last month, Kash did the unthinkable when he stole Dane's title after he successfully retained it against Alex Reigns. Kash has been taunting the "Vanilla Godzilla" ever since, and it has resulted in a No Disqualification match being made for March 15. Kash is showing up to prove he deserves the title, Dane has plenty of revenge in mind as he looks to retain his rightful championship. With rules officially out the window, these two have free reign to beat each other under the mat and back to become the undisputed NWA Lone Star Heavyweight Champion.
David "Super" Duperon gets a long-awaited shot to regain the NWA Lone Star Junior Heavyweight Championship on March 15, as he faces "One Man" Mike Dell. Back on December 14, Dell defeated Duperon for the title as he achieved Triple Crown Champion status. It didn't come without its share of controversy, as Killer McKenzie also got involved in the match. Duperon has a chance to redeem that outcome, as he goes after the title he once held.
In other action, Jasper Davis and Rudy Russo will collide in what promises to be an exciting match. Real America (Chaz Taylor and Hambone) will also be in action as they face Silky Baines and Ricky Starks.
Originally, It was set to be Real America facing Breaking Point, but when Baines' partner DJ King was rushed to the hospital recently, NWA management pulled the plug on that and was forced to find a replacement. There has ben no word yet on the return date for "The Texas Torture Machine," but the NWA won't let him rush back too soon.
There will also be a triple threat match, as Cherry Popper faces Jodan and Dante, as well as an appearance by NWA Lone Star Women's Champion Barbi Hayden.
