What is the time, channel for the 2013 World Series?
The BART strike ended here in the Bay Area Monday night and its leaving a lot of folks looking at things other than how they are going to get to work, like the 2013 World Series.

The 2013 World Series match-up between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals will start in Boston on Wednesday, October 23, at 7:30 p.m. EST (4:30 p.m. PST for us here in California).
But be warned that the game could be postponed for weather. More on that in this story on the storm heading to Boston.
What channel is the World Series on?
It will be carried by FOX TV stations. Here in the Bay Area, that is KTVU, Channel 2.
What is the rest of the World Series Schedule?
The Boston Red Sox host the St. Louis Cardinals again at Fenway Park on Thursday night, Oct 24, at 7:30 p.m. EST, 4:30 p.m. PST.
Then, the teams will take Friday off to travel.
St. Louis hosts Boston for Game 3 at 7:30 p.m. EST 4:30 p.m. PST on Saturday, Oct 26. Game 4 on Sunday will also be hosted by St. Louis but the game will start a half hour later, at 8 p.m. EST, 5 p.m. PST.
Game 5 if needed, will also be hosted by St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m. PST on Monday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. EST, 4:30 p.m. PST.
Green Monster for Halloween?
Finally, games 6 and 7, if needed, will go back to Boston and Fenway Park's famed Green Monster. The Cardinals and Red Sox will take Tuesday off and will play on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct 30 and 31 at 7:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m. PST. So if the series goes all the way to Thursday, we will see a Halloween World Series.
But once again, the 2013 World Series starts on Wednesday, Oct 23, at 7:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m. for those of us on the West Coast. It will be broadcast on FOX TV stations around the country and KTVU Channel 2 here in the Bay Area.
