Television commercials have become a work of art and even during the Super Bowl people tune in to see the best commercials during the NFL game. On Thursday night the “World’s Wildest Commercials” will expose America to TV ads from around the world that are hilarious and worthy of watching. According to the Lansing State Journal on Thursday, the television commercials are a collection of international oddities and will be thoroughly entertaining.

So what does it take to be the funniest television commercial? As most viewers know, this means that a video message about a product or service needs to be broadcast and it must include a bit of a shock value. From sexy women to odd situations and every point in-between, the impact on the world (and social media) also weighs into the equation for the best commercials ever seen.

“World’s Wildest Commercials” is hosted by “Suburgatory” star and “Saturday Night Live” alum Chris Parnell, the hour-long special features a top 20 countdown. Of course the additional wild commercials grouped together in entertaining categories like animals, autos and strange moments will have people laughing too.

While there won’t be any football plays to watch, the ABC special will have TV commercial breaks between the segments (which is almost ironic.) And viewers will get the chance to see many TV ads that have never aired in America, but are so comical that they easily break down the language barrier and offer up a laugh no matter what language you speak.

Watch ABC to see “World’s Wildest Commercials” which airs on Thursday, August 28 at 10 p.m. ET.
