Sultan Kosen, the world's tallest man, married Merve Dibo in Turkey this past weekend. Kosen, who stands 8 feet 3 inches tall, says he has found the love of his life. Huffington Post shared the details on Oct. 29.
Kosen married Dibo, who stands 5 feet 9 inches, in a ceremony held in Mardin, Turkey on Sunday. He had searched for some time, the 21-year-old had said, noting that ladies were often scared of him due to his height. He earned the crown of world's tallest man with Guinness World Records in 2009. He also is in the Guinness Records Book for having the biggest feet and hands.
It seems the world's tallest man married his bride while wearing a custom-made suit that used nearly 20 feet of fabric. His shoes were not exactly off the rack either. Despite the large height difference between the bride and groom, it seems the ceremony was otherwise quite traditional. Congratulations to Sultan Kosen and Merve Dibo and may they share many years of happiness!
