The world's smallest dog has been officially named by the Guinness Book of World Records. On Sept. 29, it was reported that the little dog -- currently living in Puerto Rico -- was previously crowned the "world's smallest puppy" but now that she is over the age of two, she has taken over the "dog" category.
As previously reported, the pup -- called "Miracle Milly" -- weighs just one pound. Her owner says that as a puppy, Milly fit into a teaspoon -- undoubtedly a teeny, tiny girl! Although she's small, she still enjoys playing, eating, and doing things that normal dogs like doing.
The world's smallest dog honor was previously bestowed upon a Chihuahua from the United States. That dog, however, was bigger than Milly and she had to give up her crown. It is unknown whether or not Milly will grow any more but if she doesn't, she could hold her title for years to come.
