Mikel Ruffinelli, 39, a 420-pound woman with an eight-foot circumference, set the new world record for World's Largest Hips, according to the World Record Academy, said that she wouldn't change a thing.
On Jan. 21, 2013 Huffington Post reported the plus size model, of Los Angeles, Calif., who stands at just five-foot-four, has a 40 inch waist and 100 inch wide hips. She attributes the weight gain from her four pregnancies, and contends that her hips are real. She said she currently has no health issues and tried to work out with her daughters by dancing on the Wii.
Despite having difficulty in fitting through doorways and even having a custom built bed, she still said she would rather be her size and happy than skinny and miserable. Her size may not be for everyone, but her contentment with her body is an inspiration for us all.
