The cast of "Person of Interest" at the Women’s Theater Company includes Meridith Johnson* (of Maplewood, NJ) as FBI agent Jane Willis, Scott McGowan* (2012 NJ Footlights Award winner-of Maplewood, NJ) as Bob Hauser, Katie Mitchell (of Parsippany, NJ) as Lynn Hauser, and Robin Marie Thomas* (of Hamburg, NJ) as Charlotte Hauser.
They will be performing in "Person of Interest" at the Women’s Theater Company, located at the Parsippany Playhouse at 1130 Knoll Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ.
"Person of Interest" will be directed by Lauren Moran Mills. The artistic director of the Women's Theater Company is Barbara Krajkowski.
This original play by Jewel Seehaus-Fisher is a world premiere production.
Charlotte Hauser, a professor of cell biology, despite her mistrust of the government is reluctantly pulled into cooperation with the FBI. Her closest friend and former mentor, Harry Rabin, has been named a “Person of Interest” in the mailing of the anthrax letters that killed half a dozen people and permanently injured many more. She is torn between loyalty to Dr. Rabin and her own suspicions. Her husband threatens to leave her and seek custody of her daughter if she continues to support her friend. After a night of grave doubt, she joins Harry Rabin in confrontation with the FBI agent, Jane Willis.
The play is based on historical evidence. Names and places have been changed.
The compelling drama runs the weekends of March 15 through the 30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m.; ticket prices are $20 for.adults, and $18 for seniors and students.
