Blizzard yesterday released details of the World of Warcraft currency conversion that will take place with Patch 5.2. They also updated the patch notes for 5.2, entitled "The Thunder King." Players can currently preview the upcoming patch, the first of 2013, on World of Warcraft's public test realm.
Both Player vs. Environment (PvE) and Player vs. Player (PvP) currencies will be converted due to Patch 5.2's introduction of a higher tier raid and PvP season. For PvE, all Valor points will be downconverted to Justice points and Justice points above the 4000 cap will be converted to gold at a rate of 47 silver per Justice point. For PvP, Conquest points will be converted to Honor, and Honor points above 4000 will be exchanged for gold at a rate of 35 silver per Honor point.
