The open beta will run from Thursday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 10 at 11:59 p.m. PST according to a press release. This is not only available to Xbox LIVE Gold members but non-Gold accounts as well. All that is needed during this time is download World of Tanks from the Xbox Games Store to get access to all the tank-on-tank action. A key is not needed.

However, those that wish to continue playing in the beta will need to register at the official World of Tanks website by the end of the open beta. Wargaming is shutting down beta registrations after the open beta ends so there will not be another chance to participate in the game before its official launch.

Those that do register and play the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition beta will receive a premium USA T14 Tier III heavy tank at launch. Additionally, those that play at least five matches between the hours of 5 p.m. PST and 8 p.m. PST on Saturday, Nov. 9 will receive a premium USA Ram II Tier V medium tank at launch. Additionally, a double XP event will run from Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 a.m. PST to Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 a.m. PST.

There's been no official launch date announced for World of Tanks on the Xbox 360.
