If you're a dog lover (or animal lover in general) the thing to do this coming weekend is the World of Pets Expo at the Maryland State Fair Grounds, January 29-31.
This is the place to find all kinds of products to add comfort to life with your beloved dog. From harnesses and leashes to bedding and cleaning products, there are dozens of new products to see. There are also lots of goodies for humans too. From dog-themed and pet-themed clothing, jewelry and accessories, you can show your appreciation for dogs to the world.
If you want to have a portrait of your best friend painted, you can do that too, as well as meet the staffs of boarding kennels and learn about the process of rescuing a dog.
Entertainment includes an AKC Dog Agility Trial sponsored by the local Oriole Dog Training Club which will go on all day on Saturday and Sunday.
