Most metaphysicians note that The Christ and The Buddha are one... the same light shining to enlighten humankind and bring harmony and peace to our world!
Holy, Great Spirit, Life Force
At the core of all religions shines a Holy Spirit force ~ be it a God, Goddess, The Great Spirit, Deities, the life in the seed, The Savior, or The Prophet.
Savior, Prophet, Sage
"Christ" means "Savior", and He came to teach us The Way to enlightenment, as did Buddha, Krishna, and Muhammed. Similar to Buddha, Muhammed separated himself from great wealth to look within and grasp the truth through the higher spheres in meditation. His visitations from Archangel Gabriel were profound, wherein Gabriel showed Muhammed, in ancient symbology, the words he used in formulating the Koran. Gabriel was the same Archangel who informed The Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of all Angels that she would give birth to Jesus Christ. According to ancient Holy texts, both Muhammed and Jesus were virgin births. All superior beings taught love and tolerance ~ Muhammed, in his early mosque invited all to enter for prayer.
The key to coexistence is that we LOVE and not judge...
Through acceptance, tolerance, and mutual prayers for the salvation of our planet, we wholly realize that WE ALL ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!
The Parallel Sayings of The Christ + The Buddha
As found on Heartland Sangha.com, we see amazing similarites bewteen The Christ + The Buddha. There is great depth in both faiths, for various reasons.
The following is an excerpt from Heartland Sangha, beginning with the preface:
"Although the Buddha and Jesus lived hundreds of years and cultures apart, there are striking parallels to the sayings attributed to them. It is not that they said exactly the same things, it is rather that their distinctive and independent sayings pierce the veil of illusion, reminding us that God, or truth or whatever word that we choose to call that which is ultimate, binds us together in a timeless and infinite garment of mutuality.
The parallel teachings of Buddha and Christ are from the book "Jesus and Buddha ~ The Parallel Teachings" by Marcus Borg, Jesus scholar, and Buddhist writer, Jack Kornfield. The Buddha sayings are taken from the Dhammapada and the sutras of the Buddha. The Jesus sayings are taken from the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John."
Buddha: Consider others as yourself.
Jesus: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Buddha: One who acts on truth is happy, in this world and beyond.
Jesus: You will know the truth and the truth will make you free.
Buddha: Hatred does not ever cease in this world by hating, but by love; this is an eternal truth... Overcome anger by love, Overcome evil by good. overcome the miser by giving, overcome the liar by truth.
Jesus: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. From anyone who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again.
A Time to Reconnect ~ Wesak ~ Full Moon Meditation May 26-27
"Wesak is a time of unusual inflow of life and of spiritual stimulation, serving to vitalize the aspiration of all humanity. At the time of the festival, through the united effort of the Christ and the Buddha working in closest cooperation, there is opened a channel of communication between humanity and deity through which an approach can be made to Those Who guide our planet, so that aspirants and disciples are able to contact energies not otherwise easily available."
What can we do, during this time?
Besides prayer, we should incorporate "visualization". When we visualize what we want, and not what we fear, we draw the positive result to ourselves, others, and all aspects associated with the visualization.
Today and Everyday
Let us visualize peace and harmony on the planet, this day and everyday. Let us imagine what we WANT, NOT what we fear! Let us also realize it it is we who should determine what big business and government do to serve "we, the people", and not the other way around. Our entire planet depends on us assuming responsibility, and not just waiting for "the experts" to handle it!
A Prayer for Our Oceans, Our Planet + to Heal Our Intentions
"LET US PRAY FOR THE OCEANS OF THE WORLD, and ask God to help us overcome human greed and incorrect motives that seem to rule the fate of our planet and her inhabitants! With our positive thoughts, actions, and intentions ~ and the help of God, the Archangels, and Ascended Masters ~ we can heal ourselves and Planet Earth! And so it is!"
Let us be strong in our conviction to say, do, think, and visualize the most favorable outcome!
