On Sunday, February 16, the original Harlem Globetrotters will take the floor at STAPLES Center for two separate games starting at 12:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

For the past 88 years, the Globetrotters have provided family fun entertainment in 120 different countries. Their creative style of basketball has dazzled fans with their impressive ball handling, high-flying dunks and amusing antics. With every game, the Globetrotters find innovative ways to score against their opponents as they balance a ball on their head or juggle multiple basketballs. Notable Globetrotter players such as Special K and Big Easy have made half court hook shots look simple and easy!

As a part of their 2014 “Fans Rule” World Tour, the Globetrotters are allowing fans to vote on unique new rules to be used during the games. These rules include “Two Ball Basketball” where teams play with two basketballs at the same time and “6 on 5” where five Globetrotters take on six opponents. Five new rules are up for voting and the new rule with the most votes will be implemented during the game at STAPLES Center! To join in on the action, place your vote for the new rule you want to see on the court by visiting the Globetrotters event website.
