Workshop: Eating Green in Boston Restaurants

It's not easy being green, but some of the Boston area's best chefs and restaurants are leading the charge.  Join me this Thursday, July 22, to learn more about how to eat green when you eat out.  I'll be presenting the second in the Boston Public Library Honan-Allston Branch's Green Living workshop series this summer, "Eating Green in Boston Restaurants."  The presentation is free and open to the public, and will take place from 1-2PM at the library.

Whether you like fish and fowl, pastured beef, or vegetarian fare, this workshop will teach you how to order an eco-friendly meal no matter where in the city you go out to eat. We'll discuss where to find restaurants with sustainable menus, how to encourage your favorite haunts to go green, and even how to introduce kids, relatives, and other skeptics to the concept of green cuisine.

Participants will come away with a list of resources and suggestions on where to go that very night. Come one and all, and bring your friends to this free lunchtime event.
