September 11 will always be a part of the American memory. Anyone who was alive on September 11 will remember exactly what they were doing when they were told the airplanes had hit the World Trade Center and the Pentagon building.
"I was in high school, finishing a math test," said Reggie Townson.
"I was working in a restaurant when a man walked in and said the towers had been hit," said Jennifer O'Connell.
"I was working on a building project when my foreman told me about the attacks," said Julio Hernandez.
Eventually the memory will fade. But people should never forget what happened. They should never forget the firefighters who gave their lives in an effort to save those trapped in the burning buildings.
