Many Miami working people are hoping for a better situation in 2013. They have struggled during the past several years and are seeking an improvement this year. Many people are making New Year's resolutions to better themselves and their careers.
"I am going back to school. I want to become nurse within the next three years. I think it is a goal I can achieve. Right now, I work as a waitress in North Miami but I don't see a long term future in that," said Amanda Schlosser, a Miami resident.
"I am seeking a promotion at my job as an office assistant. I have many years of business experience and I would have a lot to offer my company or another company. I want to become an office manager," said Alyson Reynolds, a Miami resident.
"I am in the process of preparing for the LSAT. I want to become a lawyer. I believe that with a law degree I can earn a better salary and get ahead in the business world," said Bryan Tavares, a Miami Beach resident.
"I am seeking a business degree. With a business degree, I could one day manage a company and earn a large salary," said Mary Kohler, a Miami resident.
