Ozzy Osbourne released a new cover version today of a John Lennon track to pay tribute to the former Beatle's 70th birthday. The track is "How" from the "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band" album.
The video is included here on this page. It shows Ozzy walking around New York City, eliciting reaction from spectators and ending up at Strawberry Fields in Central Park and leaving flowers at the Lennon memorial "Imagine" plaque. It's a great version of the song and a poignant video to go with it.
The audio track is available exclusively through iTunes. All U.S. proceeds from sale of the track benefit Amnesty International.

OK, RS. I purchased the song. I challenge anyone who reads this to please do the same. Cost is $1.29.
Ozzy's voice is really suited for this song. The Leslie guitar is a nice touch.
(BTW, "How?" is on Imagine ... not John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band.)
As 'Anonymous' said, How is from Imagine. Do you actually know much about Lennon's solo songs, Steve?
Got something to say?
