[ Do Everything Without Grumbling ] Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,”(Philippians 2:12)

Salvation is a gift. It is no earned or given because of family religious history, nationality, etc. It is from God. He offers the gift to the whole world. It is received by faith. It is placing belief in God’s only Son, Jesus. It is trust in the fact that Jesus Christ died to take the penalty away for one’s sins. This belief and trust is shown in the way a person lives his or her life.

Salvation created a new person and the old has been replaced. The new person has been given the kindness of repentance. They have changed their hearts and minds away from evil toward God. This is done as the Scripture states in “fear and trembling.” God has given them the Holy Spirit in response to their faith. The Holy Spirit leads into the truth found in the Holy Bible. He counsels them on God’s requirements of living right before Him.

Righteous living is not grievous or a burden. Love for God motivates the heart and actions are done to please Him. Prayers are heard from these lives and God hears them. He responds to fulfill every spiritual need in Christ Jesus. He gives strength, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, peace and rest for the soul.

Believer, share your gift with others. Others are in need of spiritual blessings. Jesus is the answer for them.
