More Gumby than incredible Hulk? Lou Ferrigno - yes, the original Hulk himself - and his family are launching a free six-week fitness and wellness program called Hey There Muscles - Lean Fitness by Ferrigno FIT. Class is in session every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the Santa Monica Pier, beginning July 12, 2014 and runs through August 9, 2014.

The Ferrigno family fitness dynasty - Lou Ferrigno, his daughter Shanna, his wife Carla and other experts - are leading this mind-body-spirit overhaul with courses about creating lean muscle, and healthy living and eating habits. RSVP here now. Then, grab your towel and a bottle of water before heading to the west end of the pier. Each session features a pep talk followed by a 50-minute workout.

Lou Ferrigno and Mike Dunlavy lead the first class aptly titled "Start with Determination" on July 12th. Lou's wife Carla Ferrigno and the Double Time Twins take over on July 19th to focus on "Habits for Longevity." Lou's offspring Shanna and Joselynne Boschen "Stop Self Sabotage" on July 26th. "The Importance of Food" becomes paramount when Hilary Perez and Chris Minnes step it up on August 2nd. Kim Ward and Karen Jashnisky tackle "Exercise By Body Type" on August 9th. It's only fitting that the whole Ferrigno family contribute to the final session, which stresses the importance of "Building Your Fitness Family."

No Muscles? No worries! Everyone has to start somewhere. Fit it in, and firm up!

Details: Hey There Muscles - Lean Fitness by Ferrigno FIT - free. Six Saturdays beginning July 12, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Santa Monica Pier off Ocean Boulevard. Santa Monica 90401
