SeaWorld Orlando is holding a big hiring event on Wednesday, January 23, for seasonal jobs at its three Orlando parks. Besides SeaWorld Orlando itself, jobs will be available at the Aquatica and Discovery Cove water parks.
Starting pay for these positions is $8.04 to $9.50 per hour, and positions to be filled include everything from park quality hosts and hostesses to game attendants to prep cooks and other culinary personnel to life guards.
If you plan to attend the event, you'll need to fill out an online application first at www.seaworldjobs.com. Then come out at the human resources department at SeaWorld Orlando on January 23 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. It's located across the street from the park, just off I-4, at 6283 Sea Harbor Drive in Orlando.
These seasonal jobs last through the summer and potentially the holiday season as well. Seasonal workers get benefits like free park entry, tickets for family and friends, and attendance at special employee events.
You must be at least 18 years old to apply for any of these positions.
