Often times we find ourselves in situations that can be devastating and challenging. Life has a way of pulling us in many directions, but it is through the leading of Jesus that we are able to know which way to go and how to handle what comes our way. We try to fix things on our own instead of seeking Jesus' help. We think that we have the answer, the solution, but in reality, we don't. We only make matters worst because we don't know everything and we surely can't see everything.
The bible says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities in high places. This means that even though a lot of our conflicts come from people, it is not so much the person, but the spirit of that person. Satan wants you to believe that he doesn't exist, because if you believe this, then your issues with people will cause you to not love people. Satan knows that we are to exemplify love in every way. We must love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We must also love our enemies. Yes, those that have hurt us and have caused us pain; we must forgive them and love them.
This doesn't happen over night, but it is through your diligent pursuit of Jesus; your longing desire for a relationship with Him, that we are able to have this kind of love towards people. It is through His strength that we are able to forgive, not our own. God sees our efforts and He knows when we are really trying to do what is right. He knows when we are wanting to live for Him and only Him.
Sometimes in this journey, it seems as if the more we try, the more obstacles get in our way to deter us. It seems as if the more we try to do what is right, the more things go wrong. My encouragement to you all is not to give up! Don't cave in under pressure. Pressure reveals what is truly in our heart. Yes, pressure is painful; it doesn't feel good, but it is definitely necessary.
Just because we are going through pain, doesn't mean that Jesus has left us. He is right there encouraging us along, letting us know that we can do it. Jesus loves us! I know it is hard to keep fighting when it seems like all obstacles are against us, but I am telling you all to keep fighting, keep pushing, and keep persevering.
When you have exhausted all of your resources. When you have used up all of your human strength. When you have prayed all the prayers you know to pray. When you have mustered up all the faith, all the trust, and all the hope that is within the limits of your understanding. When you have cried all the tears your eyes will allow. When you have done all that you know to do....just STAND!!!
When you have done al that you can do in the natural, God will then put His SUPER to your NATURAL which equals the SUPERNATURAL blessings of God! God is right there in your struggles and in your pain. Wait patiently on Him! The greatest strength that we can exemplify in the midst of our storms is through standing. Build your life on the Rock (Jesus), so that when the strong winds of life come to knock you down, you will not fall but you will remain standing
