Word Church Akron to give away free school supplies, groceries on Sunday, August 22, 2010
The momentum is alive and the new Word Church Akron campus is alive, with the church all set to give out free school supplies and free groceries to whomever comes to get them before they are all gone.
On Sunday, August 22, 2010, the Word Church Akron campus opens at 10 a.m. (though this reporter recommends folks get there early) with Pastor R.A. Vernon introducing his "spiritual son" Pastor Wayne Hoye as campus pastor.
And it's not the only time an "outreach" or "inreach" event helping the community will be performed by the Word Church Akron.
Just like the Word Church's main location -- who's known around the Cleveland-area and beyond for such famous giving events like Word Mart -- Word Church Akron plans to make free groceries available at other times throughout the month.
So visit the church at its Sunday launch date or during Wednesday night Bible Study at 7 p.m. each week to learn more details about the church's upcoming giving events.
