Spread over 193 acres, Indian Lake in Worcester, MA is the largest body of water within the city. The lake is popular for family activities offering two public swimming beaches, picnic and recreation areas, a public boat launch and a tennis court.
The Indian Lake Watershed Association's annual spring cleanup takes place Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to noon.Volunteers are needed to help clean the shoreline, pick up trash, collect branches, plant and participate in other general clean up activities at Shore Park, Morgan Park, Indian Lake Beach and other designated areas.
The Association welcomes those who devote time during the three-hour period. Volunteers should meet at Shore Park, 115 Shore Drive at 9 a.m. Those bringing their own tools are asked to label them.
