Des Moines East Village venue Wooly's (504 East Locust Street) announced three new concerts in the last two days. Tickets for all three shows will go on sale on Friday, January 11 at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly. Tickets may also be purchased at the Wooly's box office. Here are the details on all three shows.
On Friday, February 15, country and folk singer/songwriter Iris Dement comes to Wooly's. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show is slated to run from 8 p.m. to midnight. No opening act has been announced for this concert, and it is a 21-and-older show. Tickets are $28 in advance and $32 at the door.
On Friday, March 15, the Des Moines rock band Mindrite will play what Wooly's is saying will be the band's final show. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show will run from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by Sub Sonic Social and will feature performances from Mindrite, Index Case, As For You, Sidewise, 660 Dubstep, DJ Jesse Jamz, and 2-3 more DJ's to be announced later. The event will be open to anyone 16 and older. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
On Thursday, June 13 Seattle rockers Candlebox bring their 20th Anniversary Tour to Wooly's. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the concert will run from 8 p.m. to midnight. Oskaloosa rockers Fatal Addiction will serve as openers for this all ages show. Tickets for the concert are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Check out music from Candlebox in the nearby video box.
