The purpose of this event is to find homes for pets and raise money for the groups and organizations that rescue and care for them. The day will be full of FREE outdoor fun and music for the entire family. Most importantly, it’s THE place to find the perfect furry addition to your family! Rescue organizations from around Washington State will feature adoptable pets of all shapes and sizes. In addition to dogs and cats, bunnies and ferrets will also be in attendance!

Trainers will be on site to answer any pet-related questions and provide expert advice to help you find the right addition to your home and family. The Pawsitive Alliance Dog Concierge crew will be available to assist you in making the perfect match with your new canine family member. You are welcome to bring your current dogs to play in fenced areas and to ensure you get the right fit for your WHOLE family. Licensed, leashed, vaccinated and well-behaved pets are welcome!

But this isn’t just about the pets. Woofstock will also feature live musical entertainment from PK Dwyer, Champagne Sunday, The Tenants and Jess Ross & Jessie Abbott, providing a mix of bucking blues, indie, folk, and alternative folk music. All of the musicians are South Sound locals and give their time to help find homes for as many of these deserving animals as possible.

Woofstock 2014 is presented by Dugan Foundation, Pawsitive Alliance and PetSmart Charities. For more information, email Marcia at or call Pawsitive Alliance at 206-486-4PET206-486-4PET.
