After selling over 88,000 puppies and kittens since its opening over 30 years ago, Woodbridge, NJ's Animals and Things pet store, located at 1040 U.S. Highway 1 North, is going out of business. The owners are retiring and the store closing date is not set yet. However everything in the store- from fish and dogs to aquarium supplies is currently marked down to "10 % off". The traffic in the store was lively today, as shoppers rushed in to see what other markdowns would be available. Animal clothing is currently marked down to "50 % off" and Instant Ocean Marine food (non-frozen) is currently being offered as "buy one and get one free". Although there are huge discounts storewide, there are no returns or exchanges allowed as everything is being offered as a final sale. The pet store is being torn down after everything is sold and it becomes vacant. There is no word yet as to what will be placed at the site after demolition.
