Woodberry set to play for FC Dallas in 2013

London Woodberry will be the first Baltimore Bohemian player to suit up for a Major League Soccer club, as he was placed on the active roster for FC Dallas.

The 21-year-old signed a homegrown contract with the Texas side in early January. He played in four games with the Bohs during their inaugural season, registering one shot and committing nine fouls in 359 minutes of play.

In 2012, his senior year at Maryland, Woodberry earned third-team NSCAA All-American honors. He compiled four goals and four assists in 77 games with the Terrapins.

Woodberry is the ninth homegrown signing for FC Dallas, the most of any MLS academy. They open their 2013 MLS schedule on March 2nd at home against the Colorado Rapids.
