WonderCon is the second largest comic book and pop culture convention on the West Coast. For the second straight year Anaheim will play host to WonderCon Easter Weekend 2013. Tickets just went on sale for the event being held March 29-31. You can purchase your badges online for directly through the WonderCon website. While you are there you can also book hotels at greatly reduced con rates.
Last year’s WonderCon was a huge success at the Anaheim Convention Center despite some wet and soggy conditions. And this year the exhibit hall is sure to be buzzing with booths from all comic publishers including small and independent press publishers. The Artists’ Alley is generally regarded as one of the most fan friendly on the convention circuit so you will be able to get up close with your favorite comic artists and writers. There will also be a massive amount of comics and memorabilia for sale by retailers, publishers and the creators themselves. Your souvenir bags will be stuffed.
DC Comics has already announced the exclusive premiere of their new Superman animated move. Superman: Unbound is the next installment from DC Comics’ animated universe and is based on Superman: Brainiac the story by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. The DVD and Blu-Ray will be available in late spring from Warner Brothers but you can see it first at WonderCon.
