It's not that Danica McKellar doesn't look good in her latest photo spread for Maxim magazine's June issue, but seeing the young actress who literally grew up on television make sexy, coy faces for the camera in a matching bra and panty set is a bizarre sight.
That's the funny thing about television and its memorable characters--it makes you feel connected to both the fictitious person and the real-life actor who brought them to life.
Still, while any red-blooded man would be excited to see a half-naked woman in this scenario, is it not a little bit strange to see Winnie Cooper in nothing but a red bra and panties in Maxim's latest spread? It's like accidentally stumbling upon "private" photos of your friend or relative on their Facebook page--the entire situation becomes terribly awkward.
That goes for you too, Rudy Huxtable. You as well, Ashley Banks. I'm all for the right for women to do what they think is best for their careers (and bank accounts), but seeing the child stars we witnessed fifteen years ago now posing in Playboy-lite publications just doesn't seem right.
Oh well--at least Danica turned out okay (no Lindsay Lohan-like rehab woes or Miley Cyrus shenanigans here), as the mom-to-be has written two books encouraging kids to enjoy using their mathematical skills.
Below, watch Danica McKellar on "The Glenn Beck Show," as she explains the math behind a trillion dollars while also promoting her books "Kiss My Math" and "Math Doesn’t Suck.”
On Friday, catch a new episode of "Friday Night Lights" at 8 pm ET on NBC.

I'd like to make her sing out of tune.
haha, you're funny michael. i think most boys who watched the show wished they could see winnie in her underwear, so they'll probably love it. i personally thought she was a little above something like that, but i guess not : )
