Wonder Years Later, Phonte & 9th Wonder Tour January 7th

In the early 2000’s North Carolina based hip-hop group Little Brother made up of emcees Phonte Coleman, and Rapper Big Pooh as well as producer 9th Wonder entered the spotlight with their debut LP The Listening. The album which penned songs like “Speed,” “The Yo-Yo,” and “Whatever You Say,” just to name a few, became a huge success which led to their follow-up and perhaps best project, The Minstrel Show (2005).

While working on their third album, GetBack, Little Brother went through a lot of changes—leaving their label and the departure of 9th Wonder.  Years later Phonte and 9th Wonder ended their “beef,” via Twitter, so now the two going on tour together is going to be pretty epic.

The two have both just recently released new albums—Coleman with his solo debut Charity Starts At Home, and 9th Wonder with his long-anticipated (literally years) album The Wonder Years.  Joining the two on the road is fellow Justus League counterpart emcee Median who released his sophomore project The Sender, as well as Jamla artist Rapsody.
