Kick back South Carolina as the Central SC Cobras is ready to make its mark in the prestigious W-League. After three years of meticulous planning, the Cobras will make their long awaited debut backed by the star power of the area's best grown talent. Guided by Head Coach Sandy Burris, the Cobras look to make waves in their inaugural season as they look to go to war in the league’s toughest division, which includes the league's defending champions.

Based in the heart of South Carolina, games will be played at The Younts Soccer Stadium in Columbia. Their Central location within the state, hence the Central in Central SC Cobras, lends itself to the Cobras proud desire to represent the entire state of South Carolina. They are encouraging everyone from Rock Hill to Beaufort come out and support their own.

For those new to the W-League, beware, this isn't your little sister's micro soccer league. The W-League is currently the highest level of professional soccer for women, and attracts only the elite. With the temporary folding of the WPS, the W-Leagues has seen an increase in top tier talents calling the league home including US Olympic standout Hope Solo and up-and-coming star Sydney Leroux.

But outstanding talent isn't new to the W-Leagues as it is the oldest women's league in North America and has franchises all around the world.

The Central SC Cobras will have their first match in the South East Division on May 12th against VSI Tampa. And are hoping for a big turn out for their home debut against the FC Jax on May 20th. Season tickets are currently on-sale on their website. You don't want to miss it, because as they say "Our Time is Now." And they are looking to make an immediate impact.
