Women's Heart Week: The Beauty in Eating Heart-Healthy

So much focus is drawn to outer beauty and not enough toward inner beauty. The truth is, without the inner beauty, the outer beauty may be non-existent or null. The statistics for women with heart disease are sad and astounding with heart disease ranking as the number one leading cause of death for women.
 

Women's Heart Disease Week was created to bring awareness of how this disease affects women. The focus is prevention, education, symptoms awareness and early intervention. There are many factors that that can lead to heart disease, however; if controlled; you can easily avoid this disease. Controlling your weight, regulating your blood pressure and cholesterol levels and eating well are the best methods for women to prevent heart disease.
