Women’s Health, a leading women’s lifestyle publication from Rodale Inc. announced the launch of its second application for the iPhone and iTouch, 'Your Slim-Down Shopping List.' From low fat diet staples like cereals & breads, to frozen diet meals, this free application provides information on about 250 of the most convenient supermarket finds. For each item, there is a detailed description of the product's attributes and nutritional information, including calories, fat, sodium, carbohydrates, and fiber.
“Each year, we enlist a team of nutritionists to comb supermarkets across the country and test hundreds of packaged goods,” said Michele Promaulayko, Editor-in-Chief of Women’s Health. “With this new portable application, grocery shopping for our health-minded, on-the-go readers just got a whole lot easier.”
In addition to offering nutritional information, 'Your Slim-Down Shopping List' enables users to search for the best-packaged foods for women based on specific goals, including weight loss, muscle building, bone health, and disease prevention.
