Women’s clothing retailer DOTS going out of business sale

Women’s clothing retailer DOTS is going out of business and they are having a big sale.

Starting today (March 1st) everything in the store is 3o percent off. The retailer is closing all of its 359 store locations leaving approximately 3,500 hundred employees out of work.

DOTS is based out of Glenwillow, Ohio and the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on January 20.

The store closing sale includes big discounts on all merchandise, as well as store furniture, fixtures and equipment. According to the Wall Street Journal a DOTS lawyer said during the hearing held in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newark, N.J., that customers have until March 20th to use their gift cards.

The company’s website is already down.It is a sad day for the retail world; DOTS has been in business for 25 years (Since 1987).
