The Michigan Center for Empowerment and Economic Development, presents the 14th Annual Great Lakes Women’s Business Conference on September 29 & 30th.
The conference will focus on the needs of both motivated and established business owners by delivering strategies for succeeding in a highly competitive market. The conference is attended by women business enterprises (WBE’s), corporate procurement and supplier diversity professionals, government representatives and partner organizations.
Special contract opportunities and supplier matchmakers are available for WBENC certified women business enterprises at the Women’s Business Showcase. The conference will also feature executive level workshops focused on strategies to grow your business and empower diversity excellence.
The keynote speaker for this year’s conference is Andrew Yang. Andrew Yang is the Founder and CEO of Venture for America, a fellowship program that places top college graduates in start-ups for 2 years. The start-ups are operated in low cost U.S. cities to generate job grown and train the next generation of leaders.
