What: MD NOW and Maryland Women's Heritage Center present Women Leaders - Past and Present. Go enjoy Women's History Month by attending what Maryland Women's Heritage Center suggests as an entertaining and educational Women's History Conference. This event will features a performance by Kate Campbell Stevenson. Check a tentative schedule as listed below:
- 1 p.m. ~ Check-in and Continental Breakfast
- 1:30 p.m. ~ Welcome and Introduction to the Maryland Women's Heritage Center
- 1:45 p.m. ~ Kate Campbell Stevenson as women's rights activist Alice Paul & Arctic Explorer Louise Arner Boyd
- 2:15 p.m. ~ Panels on Women Leaders and Diversity in Women's History
- 4 p.m. ~ Women's Organizations in the U.S. - Making History Today
- 5 p.m. ~ Reception and Networking
Who: Open to the general public especially women whereas, the cost to attend is $35 for NOW members and 25 for sliding scale fee. Also note seating is limited and reservation is required.
When: Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
