Women: Change the Players, Change the Game (Video)

50% of the population shouldn't settle for 18% of congress. What sense does that make? The Women's Campaign Fund (WCF)'s slogan says it all, "Change the players, change the game." The WCF website shares, "We understand the importance of supporting women at the earliest stages of their race, when that support is most needed...We support women leaders at all levels of government - and we do mean all. From school board to Congress, women are needed at all levels to make a positive difference in their communities."

In an attempt to support women entering the political world, WCF explained, "We want a truly representative government that reflects the diversity of our country, including women of color, LGBT women, and young women." The Women's Campaign Fund is a 501(c)(4) membership organization with an affiliated Political Action Committee.

Dedicated to dramatically increasing the number of women in elected office who support reproductive health choices for all, the Women's Campaign Fund is a nonpartisan organization. Founded in 1974, they have a national network that continues to grow.
"As political venture capitalists, we work to advance women leaders at all levels of political participation and empower individuals to stand up for issues of critical importance to the health of the nation, including reproductive health."

Never thought about running for political office? No problem. If you would like to see more women enter politics, supporting women's rights, you can get involved. Visit the WCF website for details: http://www.wcfonline.org/
