Going back to work is tough for anyone. There are resumes to write and job interviews to ace.

Women who are returning to the workplace may want to attend a career event known as "Resumes and Roses." The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on April 22 at the Signature Grand in Davie. Businesses expected to attend include HCA Hospitals, First Bank of Florida, Home Depot and Marshall's, according to an article by Marcia Heroux Pounds in the April 21 Sun Sentinel.

"I will attend. I am hoping to get a better job and I need a bigger paycheck," said Heather O'Neal.

"I am about to graduate from college and I am looking for job in business management. I hope I find an opportunity at this job fair," said Brianna Meyer.

"This might help me find a good job. I have been working at a small restaurant for the past two years. I want a change and I want something better," said Sonya White.

Many people are attending job fairs, the network, seek better job opportunities and learn to market themselves more effectively in the job market.
